海外就職の面接対策②よく聞かれる質問の答え方

現在海外転職活動中の元看護師あやぱんです。

今回は「海外就職や外資系企業の面接でよく聞かれる質問の答え方パート2」です。

前回の記事では、海外就職の面接でよく質問される4つのことを紹介し、あやぱんが作成した解答を記事にまとめました。

今回はパート1の記事に続いて、オンライン英会話「スパトレSPTR」で指導してもらった結果、私の解答がどれだけ変わったのかを記事にしていきます。

Q1, what’s your management style.

(指導後の回答)

Managing a team is not an easy task.

However I have experienced working as a team leader during my third year of employment.

I managed the team of nurses in ICU while considering strengths, mental health and experience of each nurses.

I asses my team members whether who will be responsible in handling  a specific patient.

For the reason that if a patient is in a more serious condition, I have to assign a tough and a skilled nurse to look after the patient.

Additionally, I try to make cheerful atmosphere at the workplace.

So I talk with my staff regardless of their position whether a senior and junior colleague.

指導前の回答と比べて、使う動詞や表現を変えるだけで、ワンポイント上がる答え方になりました。

Q2, what are your salary requirements?

(指導後の回答)

Actually salary is not my main consideration in searching for a job.

I am more concerned about my career growth.

However, to answer your question, my salary requirement ranges from $3000to $3500.

But I don’t mind if salary offer would be lower than my expected range.

But then again, my decision of moving here is not merely about the monetary offer but the growth that this company can assure.

指導前の回答と比べて、自分1人では表現させることができなかった言いたい内容を表現できるようになりました。

Q3, What do you like to do outside of work?

(指導後の回答)

I consider myself as an athletic person.

I love playing sports such as volleyball.

I have been playing this sport for 10 years ever since I was a child.

More than the game, I value my relationship with my co-players.

Having a good camaraderie with them is much more important to me.

In addition communicating with other people gives me a stimulus that makes my values even wider.

指導前の回答と比べて、カッコイイ文章になりました。
面接対策する中で、今まで知らなかった単語にも触れる機会が増えたので、単語力を強化させたいですね。

Q4, tell me a little about yourself

(指導後の回答)

Nice to meet you.

I’ve been in Singapore since December 20〇〇.

I worked as a nurse in Japan for 〇〇years.

I worked as a confinement lady and a babysitter in my previous job.

My hobbies are traveling, playing sports and cooking.

I have traveled to 30 countries. I am interested in culture and values other than what we have in Japan.

I did some volunteer work such a providing medical care to homeless people at a orphanage in India.

Having all these qualifications and experiences as a professional nurse, I am actually very good in multi-tasking at the same time I have the spirit to accept and overcome challenges.

指導前の回答と比べたら、話す順番やアピールポイントが改善されました。
